A glimpse of your daily mission:

  • Handle the end to end processing of Shield claims, including but not limited to claims assessment, claims investigation and claims adjudication.
  • Ensure that claims are processed within the service turnaround time.
  • Ensure that pending claims are promptly resolved with prompt reminders sent to policyholders/distribution channels.
  • Ensure that claims are paid promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators are met, including Claims Turnaround Time target, Claims Cost Containment targets, MOH Claims Return Rate, investigation cases to be resolved within 6 months etc
  • The incumbent should have a good service mindset and put Customer First as the forefront of what he/she does.
  • The incumbent should have a good command of English, both oral and written.
  • The incumbent is required to handle email escalations from Customer Service and Distributor Care officers on claims related questions.
  • Able to participate in projects eg. Shield Claims projects including UAT;  and able to work and collaborate with both internal staff as well as external parties.

Successful qualifier of this mission:

  • 1 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in life insurance company. Prior Shield claims experience is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with health insurance processes and good insurance knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and customer servicing skills
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly and have a positive mindset
  • A matured person with integrity, and a good attitude
  • Diploma or degree holder
