What You Will Be Doing
Architas have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join their Investment Team in London. You will conduct investment research on a number of funds across asset classes as required (primarily long only equity and fixed income strategies). Reporting to the Unit Linked Investment Oversight Lead, you will work closely with other Sector Specialists, as well as the Operational Due Diligence team, and ensure that fund research is timely and aligned with process requirements. You will be required to work with colleagues in other teams and global locations in Architas as part of the Unit Linked Oversight process. The successful candidate will be responsible for fund research, monitoring and oversight of external investment managers and their offerings including CIS, non-CIS, segregated mandates and structured products.
We have detailed below the key components of the role and what you can expect to partake in on a day to day basis:
• Research, monitoring and oversight of external investment managers and their offerings including CIS, non-CIS, segregated mandates and structured products
• Collaborate with other Sector Specialists within the Investment Team, the ODD and other teams within Architas to help deliver the Unit Linked Oversight Process
• Support client relationships as required
• Continued professional development in support of competency assessments
What We Are Looking For
• CFA Charter holder (or working towards - at our discretion), similar qualification or grandfathered by the FCA as threshold competent
• Continuing investment management competence
• 3+ years’ experience as fund research analyst
• Proven knowledge and experience of systems and processes, manager research, investment markets, managers and investment management techniques
• Strong presentation skills
