  • Overall approval responsibility and ownership for all technical work delivered through BAU and all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Develop the architecture for combined technical implementations of new business opportunities

  • Provide Expertise to ensure all technical implementations of projects are according to global infrastructure strategy.

  • Manage relationship with client Architects / Related Members

  • Carries technical accountability

    • Focused on regional projects design

    • Maintains overall architecture for the projects

    • Carry the full scope, design and solution

  • Key roles:

    • Technical management of Requirements, Issues, Risks & Changes

    • Definition of projects Architectural Principles

    • Contribution to project scoping as required by Project Management Office

    • Work with application and vendor architects to define the required solution

    • Ownership of Architecture Overview

    • Managing design review sessions

      • Work products and deliverables

      • Leading review sessions, QA

    • Developing relationships with key technical staff

    • Explaining technical issues to management, project management and executives

  • Technical authority for all proposed solutions, ensuring that all proposals are fit for purpose meeting the approved infrastructure implementation roadmap, standards and policies

  • Member of the project scoping phase

  • Ensure relevant proposals deliver the required infrastructure cost benefits to the program/project.

  • Ensure that relevant project proposals post scoping phase still meet all relevant AXA global strategies and leverage Technical Center solutions.

  • Provide architecture expertise and advice to project teams through all phases of the project life cycle

  • Work with Technology Strategy, Technical Centers, SME’s and  Service Delivery team to advise and recommend on future technologies and new solutions, services and current infrastructure improvements e.g. new business

  • Contribute to the Design of global solutions with other Architects & SMEs worldwide

  • Develop Cloud solutions architectures and support design activities required for migration of existing application to Cloud

  • Develop solutions from standard infrastructure components, intervene at the reflection phase of business partners to ensure the consideration of AXA business and AXA IT strategic choices

  • Ensure the proposed solutions are workable and can be safely introduced in production leveraging industrialized services when relevant

  • Participate with partners in bids as counsel or validator

  • Contribute as a technical consultant to partners studies

  • Develop trust and proximity with application architecture teams and key stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent related disciplines

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in related Technical Design areas

  • Proven ability to develop business cases to support his/her proposals & recommendations and Influence C’ Level Management

  • Wide knowledge of IT infrastructure technology

  • Excellent Knowledge in Information System architecture

  • Enterprise Architecture and Application Architecture Knowledge

  • Good Understanding of the SDLC.

  • Have high quality communication skill and the ability to manage communication channels and to prepare materials for technical experts, PMs and commercial services.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing Technologies, Business Drivers and emerging computing trends

  • Working knowledge of AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management

  • Experience with deployment Orchestration, automation and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc)
