Are you passionate about IT, business and people? Do you want to thrive in a place where you’re part of a family and have the legroom to grow your career?

Well, we’ve got the opportunity you’ve been looking for… introducing the new AXA IT Business Analyst role!

You will be part of a team that implements modern digital solutions, supporting the global transformation project for the UK and Ireland, leading the translation of business requirements to IT solutions as we make the transformation to our new claims management system.

With your desire to improve continuously, you will have no trouble taking the lead for analyst activities, defining the framework, User story mapping and driving business engagement.

You will work in a small team assessing existing business processes and defining requirements on the back of this. You will have a knack for eliciting requirements from workshops and interviews and be able to articulate them well on “paper”.

Your day to day …

  • Manage business requirements throughout the project, ensuring all change management activity takes place and impacts of change are fully documented and understood.
  • Act as an interface between the business and IT project team through the lifecycle.
  • Identify and progress any synergies across Agile projects, programs or releases to ensure that change is delivered in the most efficient way
  • IT consultancy to assist in the formulation of business vision and produce assessments across systems based on high level scope / business requirements
  • Manage the development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to business requirements and functional design
  • Review/sign off of testing strategies, plans, criteria and results to ensure delivery to business requirements and customer satisfaction

You will have extensive experience in business/system analysis, drafting requirements documentation and can work at a conceptual level where business objectives & requirements may not be well defined. In addition to this, your knowledge of development lifecycles and strong experience of initial stages of lifecycles (e.g. concept scopes and high-level requirements) will be highly advantageous.

You are a natural problem solver with a knowledge of financial services products, regulatory framework (FSA, etc.), products & processes. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will come in handy when managing stakeholders’ expectations and presenting your deliverables to them. You are a team player who loves working collaboratively with others and leveraging their skills and experience to optimise comprehensive and holistic delivery.

You have the ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus and commercial awareness and communicate articulately using business terminology, particularly when working with business customers and technical delivery resources (including 3rd-party suppliers). Your strong facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills will come in handy, as will your influencing skills for matrix-managing various of the teams and resources you will be working with.

Your strong background of success in IT and previous relevant business analysis experience supported by appropriate IT-related qualifications will be considered an asset for this role.
