Job Purpose
The Application Analyst’s role is to provide a support function to the Front office technology team in London. This involves assisting the support team with morning checks and support to the end users of Simcorp Dimension.

The intern will help with the implementation of new processes that will simplify and benefit Technology, leading to a better customer experience. This will be done via data analysis, and continuous improvement inititives.

Key Accountabilities 


Application support
• Provide functional and technical support (application settings, assistance, trainings)
• User Account creation for various applications, licence management.
• Ensure appropriate change management processes are implemented to benefit users
• Assist with testing when required
• Produce user and functional procedure guides
• Ensure compliance with all information security policies.
• Implement and operate regular end user activity monitoring for the given application.
• Follow-up and management of tools & services enhancements.
• Incident and Change order management.
• Performing application reconciliations for auditing purposes.
• Production of weekly incident reports.
• Assiting with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Administration Support
• Manage timesheets/ and support rota for Team.
• Manage invoices using Finance tools and assist with analysis for recharging.
• Assist with the management of MYSSC user creation, deletion and audits and act as an entry point for SSB and AXA-IM for any MySSC requests.

Management of small projects/initiatives
- Analyse existing processes
- Continous improvement of existing processes {Overnight support}
- Manage decommission tasks from start to completion.
- Gather business requirements
- Write functional specifications
- Contribute to the testing phase for new versions and/or new tools

 
Depending on the needs, assist the project managers in the context of projects on which their

We are looking for Undergraduate students Studying for a Computing/ IT/ IT with Business course ( On course for a 2:1 or higher)

Technical Skills:
Previous experience working with Microsoft Office, in particular good Excel skills
Some understanding of Databases and knowledge of SQL
Willingness to learn/improve their technical knowledge

Knowledge and Skills
Good maintenance of English (French would be a plus)
Proficient in producing high quality documentation in the form of user guides and process flows

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be in constant contact with various internal/external teams (State Street, BNP Paribas and other Technology teams).
