We’re on the hunt for a full time, permanent Data Science Manager to join our Retail Insurance Pricing Team. You’ll lead a fluid team working on a variety of modelling, data and R&D projects to aid the development of our analytical capabilities and contribute to the advancement of our core pricing algorithms.

Based in our Weybridge or London office, demonstrating effective communications, influencing and strong relationship building skills you’ll lead a team of 3 data scientists in the refinement of pricing tools & techniques, and in the exploitation and maintenance of value adding external data.

Due to COVID-19, all staff continue to work from home and a return to the office will only be made when safe to do so. The team work a 35 hour week with flexibility at the heart of how we work.

We’re looking for someone with existing management experience, or experienced analyst looking for progression. You’ll be someone that has significant experience developing robust predictive models using machine learning in R or Python, are an advocate of collaborative working and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You’ll have strong leadership skills with a critical and analytical approach to problem solving.

Qualifications;

Higher education (equivalent grades of 2:1 or higher) in a mathematics or computer science related discipline or evidence of equivalent proficiency.
