  • Proactively and holistically leading enterprise responses to disruptive forces by identifying and analyzing the execution of change toward the desired business vision and targeted outcomes.

  • Supporting AMO subject matter experts’ business initiatives.

  • Working with stakeholders, both leadership and SME, to build a holistic view of the Asian market strategy, processes, information and information technology assets.

  • Ensure that the business and IT are aligned by linking the business strategy to the IT strategy.

  • Supporting synergies across Asian Market to deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment to meet the business needs.

  • Enable Enterprise ideation and influence the adoption of innovative technologies.


  • Business Vision / Value Chain / Blueprint and Roadmap

  • Providing architectural direction to technology evaluation and selection


  • Enable Enterprise Ideation and Innovation

  • Research market trends and identify upcoming solutions.

  • Advise and provide guidance on implementation of new technology solutions to ensure an accurate implementation plan and estimation of financial costs is outlined.

  • Liaise and consult with vendors to ensure that management is informed of available technology updates and innovative solutions from vendors.

SUPPORT Asian Markets Office

  • Support AMO subject matter experts with a focus on delivering recommendations:

  • signature-ready

  • actionable to business leaders, so they can adjust policies and projects to achieve target business outcomes.


  • Develop the strategic roadmap of enterprise architecture to ensure that solutions being implemented now and in the future are aligned.

  • Undertake the analysis of the current IT environment to ensure critical deficiencies are detected and recommend solutions for improvement.

  • Attend the Group & Regional Architecture Review Board and to the Technology board.

  • Define and communicate target enterprise architecture to ensure that it meets business requirements and is aligned to IT strategies


  • Contribute to activities of IT Strategy planning defining the IT strategy and plan defining the IT strategy and plan

  • Ensuring the Asian Markets IT Strategy is in alignment to support the business objectives and Group investment allocation targets

  • Provide insights on standards and innovative solutions in the market ensuring the strategy is also market relevant.

  • Contributing to the building of the portfolio of strategic projects for delivery



  • University graduate, preferably in IT or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven Architecture experience, preferably in the financial services industry.Broad experience and understanding of the technology industry.

  • Proven record of delivering business value from IT at an executive level, bringing the benefits of technology to solve business issues while also managing costs and risk.

  • Ability to understand the needs of non-technical customers, to conceptualize, launch and deliver technology-enabled business change projects.

  • Leadership qualities and ability to coordinate physical and virtual resources and initiatives.

  • Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills, good listener, ability to provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table.



  • Ability to gather, synthesise and analyse data and draw logical conclusions.

  • Demonstrates big picture thinking as a behaviour.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrated ability to create strong working relationships with others.

  • Well organised and results-driven individual.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Experience in handling regional diversity and compliance complexity.
