Please note that this role can be based in Shannon or Athlone - Ireland or in Redhill - UK. 

Looking for a Compliance Analyst with experience in Complaints, Audits, Risk preferably from a regulated insurance company. You will be supporting the team with implementing policies, procedures and ensuring the delivery of the annual Compliance Plan and Budget. We will need you to support the implementation of a robust and effective Compliance framework across the business. 

This position offers a lot of scope for career progression with the potential for the role to be expanded to cover global projects across all geographies and business units. 

 

What does your day look like?

  • Ensure the role out of centrally driven Compliance monitoring across required business units.
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of issues and matters requiring approval, centrally
  • Performing ad hoc compliance activities as requested
  • Willingness to develop technical knowledge as required
  • Quality Assurance of 1ST line activity to ensure regulatory Compliance

About you …

You must demonstrate business acumen and the ability to influence key stakeholders whilst maintaining a high level of personal integrity. A strong knowledge and understanding of Insurance products and distribution models will help you to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritise appropriately, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced dynamically changing environment.

You should be confident and articulate well orally, in writing and in presenting. It’s important that you have strong analytical and decision making skills in order to facilitate the effective and optimal derivation of solutions for any issues and problems that you may encounter.
