The resource will be part of the IT "P&C" (Property & Casualty”) area, with the aim of:

• Manage and guarantee the successful delivery of all IT components of project / program under responsibility in order to meet business objectives

• Help identifying and implement the strategy for applications and technologies under scope of the project / program, maximizing value and effectiveness of applications with the context of local entity.


Main responsibilities:

  • IT project planning and management, or work stream, within a program, ensuring delivery to costumers to meet technical, cost, quality, profitability and time scale targets

  • Leads research into solutions evaluation & design, to ensure delivered solutions is efficient, cost-effective and meets the architectural standards

  • Reporting and presenting on project status to the project team, business manager and senior management

  • Accurate financial tracking and reporting of the project/program

  • Project team shaping, building, coordination, involvement and motivation

  • Plans facilitated session for any aspect of the project including problem resolution, design, analysis and planning

  • Coordinate activities and groups (IT groups and Business groups) within projects to ensure project deliverables

  • Support and operate Application Maintenance activities (corrective, governance, monitoring) of the on scope applications

 

Capabilities and experience:

  • 5-7 years of knowledge and experience in Insurance Industry, with particular focus on P&C business (business processes, main P&C Lines of Business and so on)

  • Degree

  • A good ability in terms of relationship is a Must for the candidate.

  • Adequate technical skills on Java and on main DB management sys (Oracle) are requested.

  • API management (methodology and governance) experience is a must.

  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.

  • Management skills of problem determination topics
  • Experience in IT Project Management methodology
  • Experience in AGILE methodology
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Customer orientation, Orientation to the Result, Leadership skills, Attitude to Innovate
