·       Work within a multidisciplinary agile team to design, create and improve new and existing digital products, platforms and transactions across all lines of business
·       Provide technical leadership (full-stack), working closely with product managers and the wider team to ensure high quality design and code delivery in line with the project goals and delivery cycles
·       Mentor and drive technical skills development of developers on the team
·       Review business requirements and come up with high level time and effort estimates.
·       Produce technical designs and solution approaches for new products/assets.
·       Conduct code reviews for team members.
·       Collaborate with development team to provide guidance and expertise during product inception phase
·       Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, testing and external partners to deliver innovative, highly usable products and assets
·       Manage development activity, including the appointment of additional developer capacity from third parties as required
·       Participates in large system and subsystem planning
·       Design and implement API’s for internal and external use
·       Build a useful, robust, automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment
·       Ensure that our internal and external assets and solutions are consistent with our quality and branding guidelines in an Agile environment
·       Adhere to AXA Group web standards, usability and best practices defined and maintained by the Digital Agency
·       Champion continuous improvement to development processes and practices with new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies
·       Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers
·       Be involved in the wider regional and group development community, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences e.g. through blog posts, meetups, conferences

The successful candidate will require to have
·       Must have 5+ years of experience working with HTML (HTML 5 experience preferred), CSS and Javascript
·       Proficiency in HTML/CSS and client-side scripting libraries
·       3+ years of experience in full-stack and popular Javascript libraries NodeJS, JQuery, ExtJS, AngularJS, BackboneJS etc.
·       Proficiency with DevOps practices and mindset
·       Knowledge in developing services using NodeJS, AJAX and RESTful APIs
·       Knowledge in data interchange format like JSON, XML
·       Experience with version control systems (Subversion, GIT)
·       Proficiency in understanding key technical and business aspects of Digital Marketing, eCommerce, eServices etc.
