Screens telephone calls, greets visitors, and routes incoming correspondence. Responds to information requests. Uses intermediate word-processing software. Prepares and signs and generates own correspondence. Collects information from files or staff for routine inquiries and reports. May also be responsible for related clerical duties such as processing incoming mail, serving as receptionist, maintaining office supplies, operating office machings, and filing and retrieving information. Provides administrative support to one or more individuals. May provide administrative support for new business.
  • 2-4 years of administrative assistant/receptionist experience
  • Coordinate and schedule calendar appointments.
  • Ability to assist with the mailroom.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several tasks at one time.
  • Basic understanding of the insurance business.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
