The main role of the VIE are:
  • To provide support for the independent Operational Risk assessment, analysis and judgment, with a strong business orientation
  • Support the delivery of AXA Group Solvency II requirements and other general operational risk elements as specified by AXA IM, and AXA Group, Operational Risk Requirements

Key Accountabilities :

  • Act as a key contact point for AXA IM on all Operational Risk Assessment and Quantification matters and act as a liaison point with the AXA Group Operational Risk Solvency II team, and in support of the UK ICAAP & Local Heat Mapping processes.
  • Support and organise the process concerning Operational Risk Assessment and Quantification in alignment with AXA Group Methodology
  • Facilitate dissemination and implementation across AXA IM of AXA Group Operational Risk Standards and Policies
  • Be a key supporter for AXA IM interface with the AXA Group Operational Risk System (ORS) and the related administration
  • Support and potentially deliver the program on training to system users across each location.
  • Amend and update Operational Risk Reporting to Senior Management for both local UK and Global needs, so meeting the requirements of relevant Group Stakeholders, including AXA Group.
  • Ensure reliability of data provided for reporting purposes.
  • In addition to the Operational Risk Assessment and Quantification role (treated as priority), the candidate will support the general Operational Risk Framework requirements including, Incident Management, Risk Reviews and Product / Project Reviews
  • Promote operational risk management best practices and enhance risk and control culture within AXA IM

Profile :
 
Education/Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business or Engineering with Finance background

Knowledge and Skills
  • Good knowledge in Operational Risk management
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, investigative and reporting skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
Experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience in Operational Risk Management or Audit
  • Experience at a globally operating company
