Candidate will manage a team of business analysts who are responsible for user acceptance testing and produciton support of inforce administrative systems. Will need to lead the delivery of projects within or across departments. Accountable for managing the successful delivery of projects according to measures of time, budget, scope, quality and relationship. Owns the customer relationship of the project, partnering with IT and key stakeholders to attain business requirements and objectives. Leads the research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues and develops formal recommendations for presentation to management. Works with stakeholders to generate solutions to business issues and then plans/implements those solutions. Develops detailed project schedules, assesses risks and builds mitigation strategies. Leads efforts to develop new or revised processes/procedures for the assigned business areas.Ensures that proper management practices are adhered to by providing ongoing performance and career discussions, on‐time completion of relevant people processes, and fostering Diversity and Inclusion.
5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry. Has broad understanding of project planning & execution methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate results to project team and management. Ability to present to customers and project sponsors and play a supporting role in presentation to higher levels of management. Ability to influence others without authority. Strong negotiation skills. Strong people management skills.
