The jobholder is responsible for handling all E.C claims & all
claims of assigned major accounts, and to ensure proper reserving, adjustment
and settlement of all claims. She will assist in preparation for proactive negotiation
and settlement, where necessary.
- To ensure that claims are properly handled and settled.
- To ensure that claims are adequately and suitably reserved.
- To examine claims documents for completeness of requirements and
assists in computing claims quantum.
- To follow up on the submission of claims requirements.
- To ensure that doctors, loss adjusters, auto appraisers,
investigator, recovery agents are appropriately appointed to assist in best
investigation of a claim for reserving and settlement purpose.
approve / validate claims settlement and cheque requisitions within the limit
handle the telephone enquiry efficiently and professionally to ensure best
claim service being provided when answering the requests and inquiries of claimants / beneficiaries regarding the
processing, settlement of claims and explanation for declining claims
- To keep insured, producers, underwriters and any other relevant
parties closely informed of the development of claims and a list of suspicious
- To carry out ad hoc assignments given by superior
- University graduates with 3-5 years of working experience in Claims
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work independently with good communication skills
- Self-motivated and a good team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook Express
