1.  Perform reporting on distributors’ performance to ensure a proper monitoring of the business performance

a.     Provide regular reports (e.g. sales report and scorecards for agencies) to distribution channels enabling to track the performance of agents and distributors and validate their compensation

b.     Monitor the evolution of agency manpower

c.     Proactively review and improve existing reports to distribution channel to align with AXA HK’s strategic priorities

2.  Management reporting, analysis and recommendations to grow and enhance the distribution channels’ business, enabling AXA to meet strategic goals on multi-distribution channels

a.     Ensure relevant, accurate and timely monthly and Ad Hoc management reporting in accordance with agreed formats 

b.     Prepare quality commentaries for dashboards, profit and other reports and financial projections, including monthly and Quarterly Business Review

c.     Lead the overall strategic planning process for distribution channels including the SP financials process

d.     Monitor the execution of the strategy throughout the year as compared to the plan

3.  Acting as an advisor to the Chief agency Officer and other distribution channel heads

a.     Support in the strategic and business development for all channels

b.     Undertake deeper investigation and performance analysis on expansion projects, budgeting and compensation structure / designs

c.     Present finding to AXA HK leadership team

4.  Actively participate in the distribution’s compensation design review to ensure strategic alignment with AXA HK’s objectives

a.     Regularly review the compensation design by channel, notably in light of comparison with competitors

b.     Make recommendation and provide professional advice in relation to compensation design

c.     Provide support in managing and coordinate the control of distribution compliance in accordance with statutory regulation, company’s procedures and guidelines

d.     Provide support to key distribution initiatives such as incentives launch and development projects

5.     Develop and implement financial control processes and procedures in AXA HK

a.     Facilitate the budgeting process and compile AXA HK budgets

b.     Assist to establish best practice models, processes and systems for distribution channels and work closely with channels to implement the best practice approach on distribution management

c.     Work closely with all channels to establish standards of capability and performance to deliver against the strategic plans as well as build that capability in terms of system, process and procedure

6.  Team development

a.     Ensure competent and motivated team to meet business challenges and objectives

               b.   Facilitate people development and a culture of managing                      change and with an ongoing focus on increasing                                    automation and efficiency

-  Professional qualification in actuarial, finance or business administration will be considered

-   A qualified actuary with minimum 10 years of Finance/Pricing background is preferred

-   Experience in managing financial control and reporting, management information system

-  Previous working experience in distribution is preferred

-  High potential looking aspiring to CFO or MD job

-  Results oriented with good leadership and change management skills

-  Strong analytical skills and good understanding of life insurance products features and profit drivers

-  Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to share simple yet accurate messages

-  Strong people skills with a focus on developing internal talents

-  Good executive presence and ability to communicate and engage at all levels in the company

-  Fluent in English – Cantonese is a must
