Provide an independent assurance service to group, regional, and local audit committees and management; focusing on reviewing the effectiveness of the governance, risk management and control processes that management has put in place;
- Provide advice and assistance to management on governance, risk and controls.
Participate to the annual risk assessment for the construction of the annual plan
Deliver quality audit work (i.e. scope, audit programme and audit report) by proactively seeking feedback from audit managers on how to improve in day-to-day work
Identify and communicate clearly the possible areas for improvement and professionally challenge the norms
Assist the Head of Internal Audit or his/ her delegate in preparing the Audit Committee papers and regular reports to Regional Internal Audit.
Follow-up on the realization of the agreed action plans and report
Follow the Group audit standards and procedures
Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration degree
Preferably with recognised accounting (CPA, CA, CMA) or auditing (CIA, CISA) designation
- 5+ years professional experience (audit experience is a must) with control/ governance related working experience in insurance or financial services industry – this may be from the operations, distribution, compliance, risk management, finance, actuarial, project business analyst, IT or internal audit function
