Assistant Internal Control Manager

The key accountabilities of this role are to:

Develop and execute the internal control programme, including:
  1. Conduct reviews with functional departments and identify existing controls
  2. Design and perform control testing to ensure effectiveness of new internal control and in compliance with Group’s internal control objectives
  3. Identify deficiencies and high-risk areas in operation procedures and systems, and propose recommendation for control improvement and risk mitigation
  4. Challenge the 1st line on the adequacy of the local controls so as to prevent incidents from happening
  5. Coach junior staff to perform the design effectiveness testings and operating effectiveness testings
Assist in any ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in external/internal auditing field or relevant role, with experience in insurance operation is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in internal control, audit methodology or risk assessment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with an abilities to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Good team player, positive thinking, highly motivated and eager to learn
  • Independent, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Fluent spoken and written English & Chinese
  • CPA preferred
