Manager - Financial Security Office - Investigations

The Manager is a key member of the Financial Security Office who conducts assigned investigations, develops comprehensive investigative files and logs, and clear, concise reports. The Manger also triages inbound referrals to assess urgency and immediate actions required, taking steps to protect and secure client accounts or company resources and escalating to management when necessary. Collaborates with and assists other investigators.



  • Investigate cases as assigned (primary responsibility)
  • Handle triage cases as assigned (as back up)
  • Provide content for weekly dashboard reporting
  • Conduct root cause analysis for assigned triage and investigations, working collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders across the organization
  • Present fraud awareness topics to stakeholders as assigned
  • Participate in the annual update of the fraud risk assessment, anti-fraud plan, investigations manual, and other team documents

Demonstrates knowledge of:

  • insurance process concepts
  • AXA's products, process and controls of the organization
  • investigative concepts, practice and procedures.; applies a working understanding of the investigative process and remediation activities.
  • corporate fraud investigation practices with specific related work experience
  • fraud prevention, detection, risk assessment and governance
  • evidence analysis (including data analysis, evidence gathering, hypothesis development and testing)
  • fraud awareness training needs and experienced in delivering the training

In addition, the following skills are required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective report writing, with ability to apply analytics to draw conclusions and key messages
  • Advanced knowledge of AXA's products and related operational processes and systems
  • Working understanding of fraud concepts and investigative techniques
  • Flexible and willing to respond to unanticipated issues and constantly reprioritize based on business demands

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required and at least 4 years of experience; Graduate degree (preferred); CFE, MBA, CPA or CIA (preferred); Law Enforcement Training
