The Broker Dealer Product and Marketing Team Lead will oversee a team that consists of Broker Dealer product relationship managers and the Broker Dealer marketing and communications function. The individual must be able to set business goals, provide leadership and motivate staff.
Product and Relationship Management:
o Directly manage all aspects of the relationship, from products to business plans with larger and/or more complex strategic partner firms.
o Work closely with all other functional areas such as Operations, Legal/Compliance, and IT.
o Develop and manage business plans for the alternative Investment product line.
o Work with strategic partners to identify opportunities to increase the sale of alternative investments with AXA Advisors retail channel.
o Serve as subject matter expert in specific broker/dealer product offerings.
o Manage the Partnership Program including the calculation, billing and collection of marketing support revenue.
o Maintain written supervisory procedures (WSP) related to function.
o Working with due diligence team for reviews of new and existing products.
Marketing and Communications:
o Working with third party mutual fund sponsors and legal team to negotiate new marketing support arrangements.
o Oversee the budget, resources and strategic direction for conference planning.
o Provide guidance to team on planning larger meetings, including creating registration website, signage, event app, draft invoices, shipping, creating videos, ordering prizes and raffles etc.
o Broker Dealer Emails: Responsible for approving content and distribution of key information for both large groups and targeted communication for smaller audiences.
o Marketing Materials: Oversight of content and updating/reviewing and approving materials.
- FINRA Series 7
- 6+ years of Financial Services experience
- 6+ years of Product Management experience
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, mutual funds, investment advisory products and general securities.
- Strong MS Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's Degree required in any discipline
- FINRA Series 24 and 66 or (Series 63 and 65)
- Strong Project Management experience
- Superior knowledge of marketing concepts
- Superior knowledge of regulatory requirements
- People Management experience leading a small to medium-sized team
