The successful candidate has a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience leading a technical team providing middleware system integration and middleware platform support. As a member of the Enterprise Technology Services team within the Information Technology organization this candidate will work with team members and IT clients to establish collaborative productive relationships that result in high quality, timely support deliverables. This individual thrives when working in a fast paced, technically diverse environment and possesses a strong desire for continuous learning. This position is located in Syracuse, New York. Weekends and evening support will be required at times. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
Lead a team of technicians in support of operational deliverables.
Prioritize daily operational deliverables in accordance with application and customer support SLAs
Serve as point of contact for operational related issues
Provide leadership in outage situations and follow through on resolution
Identify and implement optimization opportunities
Ensure supporting infrastructure is compliant with security and audit requirements.
Remain informed of middleware integration industry trends.
Ability to effectively work with team members across multiple locations and time zones
Strong analytical and organizational skills
English speaking with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive mindset for process improvement and change
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
Experience working with Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
