  • Build needs understanding & constantly investigate alternative solutions
  • Work upstream with internal stakeholders to gather and assess business requirements
  • Build market analysis and needs analysis Ensure end to end execution process
  • Build the category strategy, when it’s not supported by a Category Manager, and implement it
  • Implement cost optimization action
  • Challenge needs, capture opportunities and leverage them
  • Run RFx (RFI, RFP) Manage Supplier Relationship
  • Negotiate and implement contracts and ensure their compliance
  • Monitor local suppliers, assess and improve their performance with support from Vendor Management team Manage Expense & Procurement performance
  • Have a detailed budget approach (by type of expenses, contract, supplier …) with Finance and budget owner to define budget, optimize and be compliant
  • Contribute to Savings & procurement KPIs
  • Provide support on tools implementation (including IS/IT) & best practices to increase Procurement efficiency Procurement to Pay : Ensure end to end execution process

  • Support P2P process (currently using in-house APS system) including enquiries, training, reporting
  • Generate/validate purchase orders and coordinate with external suppliers on ordering lead time and goods delivery

  • University graduate with minimum 3 yrs of experience in Procurement (hands-on sourcing and contract management experience involving General Expenses and IT commodities), preferably in MNC or insurance company
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including sound experience in working with C+ level executives/management
  • Good time management skills
  • High standard of spoken and written English (and preferably Chinese)
  • Sound understanding of legal requirements for tendering, contract management
  • Knowledge of tools of procurement (e-procurement)
  • Excellent negotiation experience and skills
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Procurement Officer
