The Data & Analytics Office (DAO) is responsible for enterprise-wide governance and utilization of information as an asset, via data acquisition, data processing, analysis, data mining, and other means to create value for the organization. The DAO oversees data collection, use and strategy throughout AXA. This data includes large structured and unstructured data sets (e.g., speech analytics, social media listening, digital footprints, customer behavior, financial information, proprietary market research, and secondary sources) with the goal of discovering meaningful implications for business decisions.

The Data Quality Senior Manager will be reporting to the Data Management Director and is responsible for:
• Collaborating with business areas to understand critical data (and why), and to deploy data quality controls on supporting data elements
• Collaborating with IT to conduct root cause analysis for identified data quality issues and work with business to establish business case estimates for data quality improvements
• Developing data quality dashboards for operational use and executive management reporting
• Defining data quality standards necessary for desired analytical and reporting capabilities across the enterprise
• Providing input into the data strategy, including the data quality framework design and implementation


Required Skills:
A Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of applicable data/IT work experience preferred (e.g., Business and Data Analysis, Data Engineering)
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, a must as there will be significant collaboration with the business and IT
Experience in creating dashboards with data quality key performance indicators (KPIs)
Relevant work experience in the following technical areas are required: relational databases and SQL, data validation and testing, data lineage

Preferred Skills:
Experience with using IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer and Information Governance Catalog (for Data Lineage)
Experience with Cognos for creating custom Dashboards is a plus
Experience with Data Lakes; Cloudera Navigator and SyncSort are a plus
Experience with legacy systems (i.e., DB2 and VSAM mainframes)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., tableau)
Multi-line Life Insurance and Annuity experience preferred for working with business to understand business impact for data issues
