The purpose of the job is to :
- Promote and develop P&C Risk Management functions within the INM entities focusing on the P&C Reserves;
- Thus contribute to the profitable growth of the INM entities by identifying and measuring potential P&C risks; then proposing ways to mitigate these risks

The main tasks will be:

1. Ensure the correct usage of the related AXA Standards for the P&C Risk Management functions within the INM entities assigned to the job-holder (on mainly P&C reserving and PAP processes);
2. Reserves process:
a. Monitor and challenge the local P&C Reserves process
b. Perform and analyse P&C reserves projections on key material or volatile lines of business within assigned entities (best estimate claims reserves – EAXA, ULAE, ALAE, UPR, URR, and other technical reserves);
c. Risk Appetite: run stochastic and deterministic reserves analyses to cover risk appetite framework within AXA.
3. Monitor and challenge the local PAP process (governance, defining action plan, review and challenge of PAP documents, providing Regional opinion,…)
4. Promote and develop key P&C Risk Management topics (Underwriting referrals, Reinsurance, CAT and Atypical non-CAT process)
5. Monitor and challenge evolution of results in P&C RM Maturity model for assigned entities.
6. Support and train the assigned countries departments in need of assistance of the previous processes;
7. Participate in working groups with entities/Group for P&C Risk Management projects;
8. If required, may be involved in preliminary work related to new acquisitions;
9. If required, may travel to the assigned entities for specific missions (training, business reviews…)


 Degree as Actuary / Statistics / Economics and/or similar;
 Extensive experience in P&C business;
 Minimum 5 years in similar roles

Technical skills:
 P&C Reserves studies;
 Knowledge of Solvency 2;
 Balance Sheets concepts, local GAAP, IFRS;
 Strong in Office tools namely: Excel, Access, (Visual Basic is appreciated);
 SAS (nice to have but not required)

Personal capabilities:

 Capacity to adapt to changing environments;
 Strong spoken and written English; French (nice to have but not required)
