-Assist in the design, definition and documentation of effective compliance frameworks and supporting practices, policies and procedures to support organisational obligations with respect to Financial Crime matters (including Anti-Money Laundering; Countering the Financing of Terrorism; International Sanctions; Cross Border Transactions (with a particular focus on tax evasion) Anti Bribery, FATCA and CRS)

-Facilitate and oversee the effective implementation of financial crime compliance frameworks into all entities operating under the Asia Markets infrastructure

-Taking primary responsibility for the development and delivery of training and communications materials relevant to financial crime topics

-Oversee the development and implementation of an ongoing compliance monitoring framework aimed at ensuring operational effectiveness of elements (identified through a robust risk assessment) of the financial crime compliance framework.  This compliance monitoring framework is to be coordinated and driven by the Asia Markets Corporate Centre

-Manage the effective ongoing operation of financial crime compliance tools (such as the AGS Norkom name screening solution and the regionally developed transaction monitoring tools) and co-ordinate all associated activities with each of the impacted local entities

-Prepare accurate and comprehensive responses to all AXA Group reporting and ad hoc requests received by the Asia Markets for review by General Counsel and Head of Compliance before release

-Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports, as required, by regional and/or local entity management committees and/or executive members.  General Counsel and Head of Compliance oversight will be applied as deemed appropriate.

-Assist the General Counsel and Head of Compliance with the preparation of annual compliance operating plans highlighting matters of a financial crime nature that require attention

-Take a technical compliance role in significant Asia Markets projects         which are either being initiated and driven directly by the Asia 
    Markets   Compliance Team or which are being driven by other Asia     Markets departments but require specific input from the Asia Region     Compliance team

-University graduate (majors in Law, Commerce/Business, Economics or Terrorism preferred)

-A minimum of seven years of relevant working experience, preferably in the financial services

-Certificate and/or Diploma qualifications in Money Laundering obtained from the International Compliance Association or the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists will be highly regarded.

-Professional accreditation by a local and/or international industry body will be highly regarded.

-Strong independent analytical and problem solving skills

-Good communication and presentation skills

-Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and eager to learn.

-A team player with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

-Ability to manage and deal with people at all levels of the organization.

-Good command of both spoken and written English, other relevant Asian language(s) – particularly Cantonese and/or mandarin - an advantage
