The core activities of the IFRS17 Data & system project manager include:

  • Selection and business definition of new IT solutions to manage the IFRS17 requirements
  • Identification of impacts on existing tools, processes, data model and proposition of new solutions to manage the new requirements
  • Coordination of the IT implementation of new solutions/processes with editors and integrators
  • Definition and realization of the user acceptance test
  • Implementation of the new reporting and KPI requirements into the existing group reporting and definition of new reporting if necessary
  • Definition and implementation of the data governance framework related to the IFRS17 scope
  • Definition of the target operating model and change management
  • Participation in the governance of the project
  • Coordination of the activities realized by externals
  • Follow up of planning and key milestones
  • Organization of the support to entities during dry runs and tracking of all the problem encountered 

Technical and professional skills:
  • Good knowledge of Finance challenges for an insurance company
  • Familiar with actuarial and financial reporting as Solvency II, Embedded Value or IFRS
  • Familiar with Finance systems and processes within AXA
  • Expert in project management
  • Mature knowledge of transformation projects impacting several stakeholders
  • Expert in PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to understand the IT solutions implemented and to challenge proposed solutions
  • Knowledge of the Agile delivery framework
