Duties with policy substance content:
Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs and Outreach, you are responsible for identifying and following-up on major European and International regulatory/supervisory developments with a focus on but not limited to consumer protection, conduct, governance, use of new technologies (digitalization and innovation), which may impact AXA’s activities and environment. You are also in charge of leading the AXA public policy networks on these matters and of working closely with experts from relevant professional families. More specifically, your work in this respect consists in:
You have approximately 8/10 years of professional experience including a few in the financial sector. You understand the role of the Insurance sector within the financial system as well as the difference with the other banking and Asset management industry components.
You have had the opportunity of acquiring some international experience.
You have a good understanding of the insurance business’ main challenges in the advent of a digital and data driven economy.
Either you have or you are committed to developing knowledge of the insurance business including the prudential and capital frameworks
You have a sound understanding of the legislative cycle and law-making processes.
Working in the Group Public Affairs & Outreach team gives you broad exposure to a large range of strategic and operational matters of significance for AXA. As there is a strong focus on rigor and in-depth analysis as well as external and internal outreach, it prepares you for multiple functions in the Group thereafter.
