Job purpose

  • Lead the development, provisioning and successful execution of information security operations including the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC), Threat and Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Service Management and identity and access management.
  • Develop and deploy a portfolio of Group security services.
  • Oversee and coordinate shared security services across the Group
  • Provide strategic advice on Cyber Security landscape and services
  • Act as strategic advisor to CSO, CISOs, CIOs, and Group Security Leadership team on Cyber Security solutions and Services
  • Ensure continuous improvement of Information Security Operations to meet leadership expectations
Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Operating Companies CISO’s and other Group stakeholders to ensure that services offered are relevant, timely, of appropriate quality and cost-effective.
  • Ensure that declared service levels are being met and provides ongoing support, performance review and mentoring to operational service managers and their staff
  • Escalate need to redirect investment or change practices as needed to mitigate critical risks identified or ensure legal, regulatory or commercial compliance
  • Implement best practices to ensure continuous improvement in quality and relevance of service offerings
  • Provide feedback to Security Strategy and Risk groups on ways to enhance short, mid and long-term Information Security Strategy
  • Participate in the development of new services to be added to the global information security operations portfolio
  • Report non-compliance and deviations to appropriate stakeholders
  • Update reporting, problem resolution and other tasks necessary to continuous improvement and evolution of services between Group Information Security and various Governance, Risk and Control offices within AXA
  • Run and lead ongoing continuous improvement of the cyber security defense and operations function/capability
  • Manage relationship with vendors and suppliers to ensure full value of contracts is realized
  • Ensure development and maintenance of auditable processes to enforce consistency
  • Provide global co-ordination of cyber emergency response team
  • Monitor and ensure system availability
  • Promote a continuous awareness of information security value to ensure timely engagement by senior technical and business managers


Qualifications

Education
  • University graduate with a degree in Business, IT or a related subject.
  • A post-graduate degree in Information Security is preferred
Overall work experience in the field
  • Experience in information security > 10 years
  • Leadership/ management experience working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures> 7 years
  • Experience in leading operations or shared services > 5 years
  • Experience in an IT or information security leadership role within the financial services sector > 15 years
  • Experience in developing application security plans and integrating security into the system development life cycle process > 10 years
