THE AXA GROUP CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY DEPARTMENT
 
The Corporate Responsibility (CR) Department works to support AXA’s long-term strategy and mission to protect by leveraging the Group’s risk expertise to build a stronger and safer society. 
Key objectives for the Department include:
  • Supporting AXA’s status as a trustworthy brand and responsible corporate citizen through leadership on the full range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, embedding ESG into core business processes
  • Engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders from civil society on issues of strategic importance to AXA’s business
  • Reinforcing AXA’s understanding of key environmental, social, and ethical trends in society, helping to envision the role of insurance in society in the future
 
DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNSHIP
The “Responsible Business” internship consists in supporting the “Responsible Business” team, which sits within the Corporate Responsibility Department. The main projects will include, but may not be limited to, the following areas:
 
Responsible Insurance Initiatives:
  • Support the roll out of the Group’s “Product Sustainability Label” initiative consisting in integrating ESG considerations into local entities’ product range.
  • Support launch of AXA’s “Prevention with Impact” strategy.
  • Other tasks may include support for other product-related initiatives (eg dedicated product offers, microinsurance, “Green” products and Unit-Linked responsible investment offers).
 
Responsible Investment Initiatives:
  • Support relationship with Responsible Investment analysts
  • Support AXA answers to ratings agencies
  • Support social impact bond project (in relation to “Prevention with Impact” project)
 
Sustainability Reporting and Environmental management:
  • Support AXA’s “Integrated Reporting” strategy in liaison with Communications teams and certain professional families
 
Transversal tasks may also include:
  • Support quality control for annual “CR self assessment” tool.
  • Supporting the Communications teams on CR-related communications initiatives

Expected skills and experience
  • Experience in CR, SRI or project management with a link to sustainability or related fields
  • Good knowledge of ESG and RI-related issues and trends
  • Capacity to collaborate constructively
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills,
  • English-French fluency
