 JOB SUMMARY

1.

To identify high impact business, routine and tedious operational process improvement areas and offer effective automation and quality improvement recommendations with customer and frontline focused.

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.

Involve in building an organizational capability with a culture of continuous improvement. Contributes actively to the development of the annual roadmap of continuous business improvement projects.

2.

Take ownership to initiate and drive discussions with different level of stakeholders to translate the results and issues at hand to business improvement opportunities/new innovative ideas with qualitative/quantitative business benefits.

3.

Provide business case justification to the identified improvement opportunities and convert into Automation/Business Process Improvement Plans & Proposals.

4.

Strong technical project management, leadership and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple parallel projects. Able to conduct in-depth analysis and provides detailed written description of goals, process maps, recommendations, timelines, work scope (deliverables, timeline & budget) and gets sign-off of project charters.

5.

Accountable and responsible for the design, development and implementation of all project deliverables within timeline and meeting 90% of the proposed savings/benefits.   

6.

Sound technical and logical understanding of systems and process flow with good analytics and MS Excel skills.

7.

Actively involved in the Regional Robotic projects implementation leveraging the regional automation tools and meeting the Regional KPIs.

8.

Prepare charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analysing problems, utilizing various business, scientific/engineering tools/mathematical techniques. Able to analyse complex problems and existing systems logic difficulties and revised the logic, processes and procedures into layman/business issues/opportunities.

9.

Ensure adequate risk assessment and benefits are performed in every business process improvement initiatives with participations from legal/audit/compliance

10.

Conduct post implementations of the implemented automation/business improvement processes and track the key deliveries, KPIs/measurements/controls for an agreed period of time to demonstrates sustainable efficiency & effectiveness

11.

Accountable and responsible for the team performance, deliverables and growth. 

12.

Provide governance and ensure standardisation of any automation/process change within the organization.

13.

Perform continuous research, study and exploration on new market trends and innovative ideas from the industry leaders or best of breed in the market to see how it can be beneficial to the organisation.

 

 OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.

Undertake any other business improvement task assigned on ad-hoc basis.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Degree/diploma from any discipline, or professional qualifications as below.

PROFESSIONAL

(i.e. insurance / accounting, etc.)

·         Systems/MS Excel Programming related certification or relevant Project Management certifications would be preferred.

·         Ajal Certification or Black/Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology and/or Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Insurance would be an added advantage

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

3 years in similar role and/or capacity

SKILLS

(i.e. language, IT software, etc.)

·  Proficient in English

·  Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

·  Good critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

·  Proven leadership experience across multifunctional projects and/or across business units

·  Good presentation skills

·         Mature personality.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

·         Strong personal drive.

·         Proactive and result-driven.
