JOB SUMMARY

 The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in all business units and serves as a consultant to line managers on Human Resource related issues and anticipates HR-related needs.


Communicating needs proactively with HR department and business management by formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the company.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.

Position the role of Business Partner as an integral part of the client management team by developing effective working relationships, influencing, challenging the line managers on their personal style and the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the achievement of the business area and HR strategies

 

2.

 Equip key clients with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with their people plans e.g. performance management, absence management, career management.

3.

 Working in partnership with Operations, and Talent Management and Organizational Development Vice President s, manage employee relations issues including the ongoing relations with the trade unions at a macro level. Build management responsibility and capability for managing ER/IR (where appropriate) issues and improve the effectiveness of consultation.

 

4.

 Identify short, medium and long term resourcing issues. Build and maintain manpower plans, co-ordinate with the talent acquisition team about workforce supply and demand and challenge clients on new roles, replacement and recruitment and retention strategies.

5.

 Support the business area with the management development of their people, providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training on Personal Development Plans and work with the business area to establish and introduce systems that identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development.

6.

 Embed AAGI culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of customer service through behaviors aligned with our values.

Ensure compliance with the requirements of local regulations and all other relevant statutory regulations and guidelines, as well as all relevant Company, Regional and AXA Group policies and procedures.

Information System Security:

Responsible for defining requirements as regards to information availability, confidentiality and integrity. Managers must ensure that all staff members (including temporary staff) and providers comply with the relevant security standards.

·          Perform risk analysis to determine risk and potential business impacts

·          Liaise and co-ordinate with Information System Security Manager on all Information System security activities within department

·          Ensure compliance on Information System Security standards and Information System Security guidelines are adhere to within department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

 Bachelor Degree in HRM or equvalent

PROFESSIONAL

(i.e. insurance / accounting, etc.)

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

 10 years with  5 years in similar role

SKILLS

(i.e. language, IT software, etc.)

 Business Acumen, Relationship Building, Advisory, Problem Solving
