Purpose of the Role


Manage management reporting, strategic planning, budgeting and forecast. Bring best practices and coach the team to provide value added analysis

Key Responsibilities


•Collaborate with regional department heads and project leads to complete the regional office strategic planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting that is aligned with regional strategies
•Review regional office departments and projects budget, challenge the key assumptions and align them with the overall management strategies
•Drive monthly forecast process. Deliver accurate, relevant and timely performance report and in depth analysis of cost drivers, performance against budgets / forecast to senior management
•Provide financial support for business analysis and decision making process in meeting financial goals and objectives
•Monitor the operating cost of the business units and promote cost management disciplines with an aim to effectively embed a cost management culture. Continually identify opportunities for cost efficiency improvements.
•Work with Regional Finance to review implications of the above on country recharges / Service Level Agreements.
•Provide ad hoc support with a focus on regional recharge, transfer pricing and rationale
•Provide support to the Regional Finance on the discussions relating to regional recharging with entities up to CEO level
•Act as business partner to regional business leaders in the strategic planning, services catalogue, Service Level Agreements and country recharge model
•Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders to further promote cost management disciplines and effectively embed a cost management culture across the region. Continually identify opportunities
•Drive consensus across the regional office and local finance community to achieve overall alignment of recharges




• At least 6 years solid experience in financial and business analytics gained from insurance industry or other financial institutions

• Degree or above in Accounting, Business Administration or Management or related discipline

• Excellent business sense and presentation skills

• Experiences in engaging and working with senior business executives to conduct cost review, cost improvement projects / initiatives

• Good stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills

• Strong project management skills and good experience in monitoring, analysis and reporting performance

• Self-motivation and strong analytical mind, well-organized and attention to details

• Strong at effectively handle multiple priorities under time and delivery pressures in a changing business environment

• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel

• Good command of spoken and written English
