Dr. Andrew Kuper is an award-winning investor and entrepreneur in emerging markets. He founded and leads LeapFrog Investments, now the world's largest dedicated investor in insurance and related financial services for emerging consumers. LeapFrog's companies currently reach over 44 million people across 20 countries in Africa and Asia with life-changing financial tools. Dr. Kuper is a former Managing Director of Ashoka, which has supported and connected over 3000 social entrepreneurs in 70 countries. He is also a founding Advisory Board member of Purpose.com, which builds movements around new economic and social models, and In-Films, a social purpose documentary film production company. A pioneer in Profit with Purpose business, Dr. Kuper is a recipient of the Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year award and the YPO SEN Leadership Award from among the 20,000 chief executive members of the Young President's Organisation. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. Dr. Kuper holds a PhD from Cambridge and is the author of two books on globalisation and governance.
