In 1995, the AXA Group began offering individual shareholders full service management for their AXA securities (shares, bonds, rights, warrants, etc.).
Explanations
In France, AXA shares can be held in three forms:
In bearer form: shares are owned directly through a financial intermediary (e.g. bank or broker).
In a registered share account administered by a financial intermediary (Administered Registered): shares are managed as if in bearer form, but you have requested that they be registered in the books of the Company. You are automatically enrolled in the Shareholders Circle.
Pure registered shares: shares are fully managed by the AXA Group. You are entitled to a number of advantages.

Member privileges
We bear custodial and administrative costs related to your AXA securities.
You are entitled to a double vote for shares that have been held for at least two years in a row.
You are entitled to:
- Access to a call center for answers to your questions
- The possibility of consulting your account status via the Internet
- The option of placing buy and sell orders directly via the Internet
- An annual statement of account value at December 31
- A statement of account during the year (upon request)
- Dividend payments via automatic bank transfer
- Share revenue information for tax filing purposes at the beginning of the year.
When transactions involving AXA securities take place (subscription, exercises of warrants and other rights), we contact you to receive your instructions.
You will receive invitations to the Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting directly by surface mail.
You are automatically enrolled in the Shareholders' Circle. You will receive regular information about Group events and business.
Our Custodian
As of November 26, 2001, BNP Paribas Securities Services, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas that provides custodial and related trustee services, administers AXA registered share accounts.

The GISnomi website
AXA offers shareholders the option of managing their securities via a special portal set up by BNP-Paribas Securities Services.

NB: The website is for AXA shares only, and does not concern mutual funds.
In March of 2003, eligible shareholders received letters announcing the inauguration of the GISnomi portal, along with a personalized username and password, and information on accessing the site.
If you did not receive the letter, have forgotten your password, or would like additional information about GISnomi, contact the BNP Paribas Securities Services dedicated call center.
Become an owner of pure registered shares
If you would like to purchase AXA securities and become the owner of pure registered shares, you must first open an account with our custodian. You can then place purchase orders by following the instructions provided.
If you already own AXA securities, you can request that your financial intermediary transfer them to our securities service. You must cover any transfer costs charged by your financial intermediary.
