AXA uses three main quantified indicators selected for their relevance in terms of tracking its various financial protection activities:
- Improvement in the combined ratio on property and casualty insurance (sum of general expenses and claims divided by premiums)
- Increase in the new business contribution on life insurance (value of future earnings on new policies).
- Improvement in the general expenses ratio on asset management.
- Growth in the Group's underlying earnings.
