We have an approach to philanthropy that is consistent with our core insurance and asset management business, and that involve making both resources and expertise available to those in need of them.

Today, philanthropy at AXA mobilizes our people and embodies our values.

In addition to AXA's philantropy and road safety programmes, AXA conducts initiatives benefitting local communities based on its local presence and through its fiscal and human resources contributions, as well as through the development of microfinance products. The Group is also formalising its relations with local stakeholders in order to better integrate itself in the local community.

Recognition for AXA

AXA Group
The AXA Group was awarded the title of "Grand Mécène de la Culture" (Major Cultural Sponsor) by the French Cultural Ministry in 2007. Moreover, AXA was awarded the Admical 2007 corporate philanthropy Oscar for its original and relevant and sustainable philanthropic policy.

Belgium
AXA Hearts in Action has been elected in 2008 and in 2010 as Solidaritest® Champion. The Solidaritest® is an annual survey measuring efforts done by Belgium companies regarding solidarity.
