Integra Madrid, Spain's first trade fair for products and services for immigrants, was held in Madrid from October 11 to 14, 2007. AXA Winterthur Spain was present to launch its new range of products designed for the country's immigrant communities.

AXA's Spanish subsidiary has launched products targeting new immigrants, opening specialized sales offices for the occasion. It is rolling out a major sales campaign highlighting two principal features: a wide range of products with differentiating features, and specialized offices based in cities with large immigrant populations*.

"Madrid International", inaugurated in 2006, was the first of these locations to open. Today, this office dedicated to selling products for new immigrants employs 24 agents of 11 different nationalities.

AXA Winterthur Spain will soon open two new "international offices" in Barcelona and Malaga. These points of sale will stand out as places where new immigrants can receive advice from knowledgeable professionals of the same nationality as the people they serve.

The subsidiary's new offer includes four products: auto, life, accident and assistance insurance. Complementary products with potential appeal for immigrant communities may be selected to complete the range, such as dental, home or work-related insurance.

This is an innovative approach toward making AXA the preferred company of all its customers, of all cultures and origins.

(*) 4.5 million immigrants currently live in Spain and make up 8.5% of the country's population.
