At the second annual Talents de la gestion (Management Talents) co-hosted by Multiratings and Euronext, AXA Investment Managers won a special prize, "regardless of strategy," as the best management company of the year. This special award illustrates the success of AXA Investment Managers' multi-expert model, since it recognizes fund performance and the quality of the investment processes of ten reference management strategies and was bestowed by 515 institutional investors. AXA Investment Managers also won the top prize for its corporate bond range.
In addition, the company won first place in the Eurofonds awards for the best European management firms (category 7 - more than 101 funds rated). For the first time, the Eurofonds top prizes were awarded by five European publications (Le Monde, La Stampa, Süddeutsche Zeitung, El Pais, Tagelblatt/Le Jeudi). They recognize the best funds and management firms in Europe.
Finally, the ABS Credit Plus fund won the Innovation Award for 2006-2007, in the institutional category, sponsored for the tenth year in a row by La Tribune and Euro-VL. This is the first time that an AXA Investment Managers fund has won this prestigious award, which honors the year's most innovative funds. The AXA World Funds Junior Energy fund was also nominated in the retail category.
