Henri de Castries, chairman of the AXA management board recently received "2006 Strategist of the year" award. This prize, awarded by the readers of the French business daily "La Tribune", was presented to Henri de Castries by French minister for Employment, Social Cohesion and Housing.
Created in 1989, this prize rewards French business leaders whose strategy has produced the best performance during the year.
