Group, September 24, 2007

Since its launch in 2003, AXA Banque has shown strong, steady growth. After reaching the the 500,000-milestone at the end of 2005, this summer, the AXA France subsidiary topped 600,000 customers.

At the root of AXA Banque's excellent performance is an innovative business model based on an offer combining the benefits of an online bank with the closeness and structure of firmly established local networks.

AXA Banque means:

  • The efficiency of an online bank with a website and financial advisors available to its customers.
  • An extensive network (10,000 AXA France agents and salaried sales associates) to support customers and their projects locally.
  • A complete range of banking products offering something for everyone.
  • A winning product - the Oligo account, a package of products and services including many banking services, a fully liquid, interest-earning account offering 1% interest on an account balance of one euro or more and, best of all, the reimbursement of a portion of AXA insurance premiums that are automatically debited from the account.
  • A boost for new savings business and savings account promotions prompting the opening of 40,000 new savings accounts since the beginning of 2007.
  • The pursuit of our offer of personal loans to our customers at highly competitive rates, with over 20% more loans extended in 2007 than in 2006.
  • The phased launch of a range of home loan solutions that will enable it to maintain active and lasting ties with its customers.

AXA Banque intends to keep up its momentum by continuing to make service quality for its customers a priority.
