AXA Investment Managers elected 2005 asset manager of the year

Multi-specialist asset manager AXA Investment Managers has just been named European Asset Management Company of the year in connection with the first ever Funds Europe Awards.

The award is given to asset management company that has made a significant contribution to the development of cross-border business in Europe, and that has demonstrated both a commitment to developing business in European markets and the desire to build a multi-lingual, international team.

This latest victory comes at the end of an eventful and successful year for AXA Investment Managers: 

• "Property personality of the year in Europe" for Paul Marcuse (CEO of AXA Real Estate Investment Management), by Property Week magazine (October 10, 2005),
• "Top French asset manager of the year", by Financial News magazine (October 27, 2005),
• "Top distributor of 2005" in France, by Structured Finance magazine (November 2, 2005).
